Key Functions
Charge and discharge protection: This is the core function. When the battery is fully charged, the charging circuit will be automatically cut off to prevent overcharging; when the battery is too low, the discharging circuit will be cut off to avoid overdischarging, thereby fundamentally protecting the battery life.
Power distribution: It intelligently distributes the power generated by solar panels, prioritizing the current load’s power demand, and stores the excess power in the battery. If the load’s power consumption exceeds the solar panel’s generating capacity, it will automatically draw on the battery’s power to supplement, ensuring continuous power supply.
System protection: Equipped with multiple safety protection mechanisms, including short circuit protection, reverse polarity protection (to avoid reversing the positive and negative poles of solar panels or batteries), overload protection (to cut off output when load power exceeds the limit), and protection against equipment damage and circuit malfunctions.
Status monitoring: Some controllers can display data such as solar panel power generation, battery charge level, and load power, allowing users to grasp the system’s operating status in real time and detect anomalies promptly.
